About Us
Who are we? - We are simply a family who love dogs, cats and horses. We are just South of Cardiff off the M4 thus 3 hours from London or roughly 2 hours from Birmingham. We are licensed and insured professional breeders with great emphasis on the health, temparament. We have 2 children who adore puppies and we live in the countryside.
We run a deposit system for puppies so we always have the security of knowing where puppies are being rehomed. We find this to be a better system than running an endless list. If you are not yet ready to commit then we run a non-deposit list as well. We limit reservations to a reasonable number then once puppies arrive we contact non-reservation names if we have availability, once we know the number of puppies.
We speak to every family considering a labradoodle and request that you complete a form asking about your home/work hours and family. Our focus is on authentic AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLES not British lines. We do not breed any pedigree dogs - only poodle crosses.
In addition to socialisation, our pups receive car and crate training. Pups are vet checked at 6 weeks, microchipped, first vaccine (DHPPI &Lepto), flea treated and wormed fortnightly. In accordance with the international code of ethics for australian labradoodle breeders we neuter/spay all pet puppies before adoption, this is included in the adoption fee. Breeding puppies are available (priced individually) with mandatory health screening.
Lisa will answer your e-mails and speak to you. She trained as a Solicitor in the nineties with a top UK firm, was in private practice until 2002. She is now a Non-Practising Solicitor, instead working in law part time. Breeding australian labradoodles was her hobby which since 2003 has taken over her life!! She was a founding committee member of the International Labradoodle Association and is also a member of the AALB. In 2006 she travelled to Australia to stay at Rutland Manor and visit Tegan Park to see where it all began and choose the new lines coming to UK for the next 3 years.
We are trying to look forward 5-10 years in the future and ensure that there is sufficient diversity in our gene pool to sustain the Labradoodle's health, vigour and heritage. This prompted the decision to import carefully selected dogs to be the backbone of our program. We choose the lines very carefully looking at temperament before looks, preferring lines with dogs being placed into children's assistance programs. We also required all lines to show health testing including hip scoring and elbows. We are very proud to have dogs from the finest Australian lines and hope to continue our mission to bring Australian Multi-Gen Labradoodles into the UK . We support animal and children's charities and have donated pups and dogs into charities we also have many in therapy and assistance roles.
