Ziggy is a 100% Cobberdog puppy. Adopted as a partly trained puppy/young dog. Ziggy has extremely unusual markings being a rare merle pure ASD Australian Labradoodle - always the centre of attention and exactly where he wants to be. His cheeky zig-zag when he first goes off lead earnt him his name . He is a very enthusiastic learner - watch him bounce into the right position in his video, as though to say "Got This!". Ziggy has benefitted greatly from initial puppy training, however he would be better with children above toddler age as he is not our service-type lines. Better for older children who want to play ball and run with him.

Screening

Benefits from our extensive health screening. Vet checked, fully vaccinated and parents are thoroughly tested - both structurally (hips, elbows, patellas) as well as 16 DNA tests for hereditary problems. *(P) denotes DNA test by Parentage

Updates

Update from Trainer

Ziggy is a very playful puppy who is always in the midst of the mischief. He has rare marking and is good looking and he know it.. A quick learner but likes to get his energy out before he starts his training session otherwise he zig-zags with bounce – hence his name. Watch his video and you can see his enthusiasm as it shines through.

What is a 100% ASD Australian Labradoodle?

"ASD" is short for "Australian Service Dog". This means that 3-6 pedigree breeds were used NOT Simply Labrador x Poodle. It also means that we imported pure lines from Australia and have not infused, backcrossed or dabbled with this unique recipe ourselves! We ONLY breed pure ASD lines now although historically we have played with backcrossing etc. in attempts to reduce adoption costs due to the cost of importing parents. From such litters which were 1-99% ASD, we had mixed and often unpredictable results. So we stopped the experiments and accepted that the original authentic mix of 3-6 was balanced and learnt the long hard way, it was not wise to play with perfection!

How does your adoption process work?

The first stage is to make email contact and request information. Have a good read, decide if a ASD Labradoodle is a match for you and then when you are ready to join our list then book into Lisa's diary to discuss your preferences and then join our reservation list (deposit is £350, balance at 8 weeks is £1650. If you opt for older or trained pups then additional costs apply and these are explained in the information). Click here to start the process
